Rejected for using 3rd Party Photo, I took the Photo myself?
Please can anyone honestly say they believe that this "Photo appears to be taken from a third party source." If the council wanted to show the course map they would have the original art work probably easily converted to PDF or JPG they would use rather than take a photo like mine.
There needs to be a method whereby you can appeal incorrect rejections, prove the rejection is wrong and have the Wayspot added. I took the photo myself stood at the location, surely the app can mark the photo as taken by submitter when you choose take photo as the submission option and then prevent this rejection criteria being used, surely not that hard to code Niantic?
It is "unique" there are only a small number in the whole of UK, encourages exercise as you walk around the course. Encourages people to meet up and play together, and is safe as it is in a park.
I expect to get the usual try resubmitting it again, that's why most people in my area cant be bothered to submit because the amount of time wasted due to bad reviewing.

The issue with Niantic notating “Submitter took photo” is a lot of 3rd party photos come from the submitter taking a picture of a computer screen.
I agree 3rd Party Photo is an incorrect rejection reason.
I appreciate that could be an issue but then If I had taken a photo of a computer screen, which this blatantly not, I wouldn't be appealing.
What I fail to see is any valid reason for this to be rejected (otherwise I would not waste everyone's time submitting) and I fail to see why I have to go and resubmit due to poor reviewing. Surely as you agree this is highly unlikely to have been a valid rejection reason then anyone that chose that should be removed from the reviewing pool? This would help to reduce the amount of invalid rejections and stop people having to revisit locations to submit valid way spots?
Some how the balance needs to be achieved where those people who hit the reject button out of habit rather than consideration are held accountable for their actions? They lose nothing the submitter may need to spend between 15 -60 minutes in re submitting.
I had a rejection with the same criteria. Went back out and re-submitted and it was approved without an upgrade. Was thankful as I didn't want to waste another upgrade.
