so how does the removal of poi on private land really work now
hello,
how can it be when other poi are reported in front gardens or even back gardens. the support tells me you cannot remove poi on private property, only with the consent of the owner.
that contradicts itself a little. so what now? private is not possible, but if privately by then only with the consent of the owner-huh?
in the neighboring village every second poi is in a front or back garden. Decorative telephone booths, old carts, statues from the hardware store or play equipment from the hardware store that were submitted as a fake playground.
especially if they are in the back garden, it's just bad to go there and take photos / streetviews, because no access.
what a confusing **** is all this now.

If you think that something is invalid and your report has been rejected, you can appeal creating a new post in this forum and providing all the info https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/categories/removal-appeals
Which reporting method are you using?
If it isn't your property you are supposed to use the in game report function. When doing so you shouldn't ever get that sort of response, just a simple yes/no answer. If your report is rejected you need to appeal it here in the "Invalid Wayspot Appeals" sub-forum.
I've very rarely had issues getting PoI removed from Private Residential property. Typically it's pretty obvious.
Private property (like a business campus or private park) is a diffrent issue. Those would probably have to get the property owner or owners to want to have them removed.
Private residential property is ineligible and can be removed. Private property if its inside a business or somewhere on a business’ property would be eligible if its legit
One more thing I'd like to add to what others have already said: only single-family residential property is ineligible. If these statues, play equipment etc. you're mentioning are located in the gardens of multi-family residential properties (like apartment buildings), they can't be removed based on PRP.
I have reported a few POI that are at locations with Montessori schools. Some were instantly removed and some were not because Niantic needs permission from the property owner.
