Local Art That Is Not On Streetview

In my local town that I live in, an Art Initiative has started to install pieces of art along the train tracks. They consist of Raised Murals and Statues, and are permanent. The problem is that they are not on google streetview as of now. So when someone in my local discord server submitted some of them, they were all rejected. Also, with the global pandemic going on, google is auto rejecting photosphere submissions for streetview so I cannot prove that they are permanent! What should I do?!

You have 2 options really.
- Wait for Google to resume accepting photospheres.
- Explain the situation in the supporting text. Good reviewers will look for landmarks in the background of photos that match up with what is visible in streetview so make sure the photos you use when submitting (especially the supporting photo) do a good job of including such things. Then in your supporting text simply explain that the art is newly installed and intended to be permanent. If your town or the Initiative has a website showing off this art, include a link *in the supporting statement* to bolster your case.

It depends on reviewers in your area, but I have had very good luck using the technique @tehstone-ING mentions. Usie the support photo to show the POI with some kind of large or easily seen landmark with it. In the support statement I'd write something like "streetview is out of date, these are new installations. To verify location, you can see [insert landmark] in the support photo". Just be sure to look at the streetview ahead of time to see what you might be able to use.
Google appears to be accepting photospheres, at least under some circumstances. I published one yesterday while at a state park (in support of a nomination) and after I got home, I checked (while logged out of my Google account) and it was active. So, try it and see. Maybe there's a delay only in certain types of areas or if automated image analysis detects subjects that flag it for human review.
