Repeated fake nominations/wayspots
Another old case which still exists on the game map for some reason, despite my reports via the Google form months ago.
Title of the Wayspot: פסל הרעות
Location: 33.057053,35.432690
City: Bar'am (kibbutz)
Country: Israel
Screenshot of the Rejection Email: N/A
Photos to support your claim: N/A
Additional information: This statue does not exist in Bar'am at all. It stands in the open air statue garden in Yir'on, a kibbutz to the north-east of Bar'am. A photo of the statue appears on Yir'on Wikipedia page, as well as in the artist's Wikipedia page, which ALSO lists the location as Yir'on. Furthermore - it's already got an existing wayspot in its correct location in Yir'on.
I first encountered this one when I reivewed its nomination, and it was then that I researched and quickly discovered that it's a fake. Alongside that nomination there were several more fake nominations "stolen" from Yir'on's statue garden and placed in Bar'am. As far as I know, only the one listed above got accepted.
I'm reporting this via the forum, and after my report via the abuse form yielded no results, because I've just encountered another nomination from Bar'am which I've come to the conclusion must be fake,
Title of the Wayspot: ביג צ'ין
Location: 33.056749,35.434424
City: Bar'am (kibbutz)
Country: Israel

Photos to support your claim: N/A
Additional information: The first thing that sparked my suspicion was the year provided in the supporting information for when this statue was created - 1927. The artist named in both the description and the supporting information, Igael Tumarkin, is a famous israeli sculptor who was born in 1933. Then there's the title of the nomination - "Big Chin/Chain". Tumarkin never made a statue with that title. He did make a statue named "Big Chief", which is located elsewhere in Bar'am (the local arts museum), but it looks radically different. The style of the statue fits Tumarkin's style, but while his creations are usually well documented, I couldn't track down its actual title.
Generally, Igael Tumarkin provided several statues to the local arts museum on Bar'am, and according to the information and photographs listed on the museum's site, non of them look like the statue pictured.
Even if it IS a statue located in Bar'am's art museum, the museum itself is located a considerable distance away from the location of this wayspot. While the satellite view is blurry, the location of this wayspot seems quite certainly to be on PRP.
Since these fakes are appearing again and again in Bar'am over a long period of time, and at least one of them actually got approved, I think Niantic's intervention is required in this case.
