New Submission accepted before older submissions are even into voting

Basically title. I submitted a church for nomination two days ago which is already accepted whilest I still have two other nominations from weeks ago that arent even into voting yet.

Is there a reason for this? The church that got accepted immideately was in a very rural area whereas the other two are not.

Thanks

There are exceptions but nominations in rural areas tend to be resolved quicker than elsewhere due to smaller queues and prioritisation

Long explanation: see @Raachermannl-ING 's post about nominations in S2 cells and their waiting time

Short explanation: it depends on the density of S2 cells so nominations in the low density cells (in your case, a very rural area) will more likely to be reviewed, even without any upgrades.

Basically if you submit near a city or an area with a lot of Wayspots, the nomination will take longer to get in Voting / reviewed because of the immense backlog that's prioritized. If you submit in a rural area with very little Wayspots, these things will get accepted/declined very fast.

If they are stuck in queue it could be that other nominations in the area are still pending, delaying them from entering voting.
