A stop showed up in PoGo for a day, then vanished from Ingress and PoGo

So one day, I noticed a new stop. Lovely and all, gonna wait for that bonus XP in August to spin it for the first time, etc. etc.

Then, the next day, the stop was gone!

However, my friend, whose device doesn't seem to be such a resource hog and hadn't had the app restart was still showing it in game.

Looking at the Ingress map, the second stop is nowhere to be found in that game as well. Was it removed so soon due to the typo? What could it be?

There's a glitch with the system currently. That new wayspot should not have gone online due to it being within 20 metres of an existing wayspot. Normally when this happens, it doesn't appear in Ingress, and because of that it can't sync to Pokémon Go as it basically acts like it doesn't exist. This glitch makes it appear in Pokémon Go regardless of the proximity rules, but after a couple of days the system correctly detects that it breaks the rules and will automatically remove it from Pokémon Go.
