Submitted a waypoint and got an email confirmation, but it never showed up on the wayfarer site

On July 30 I submitted 6 waypoints (it was a long hike) and I got 6 email confirmations but only 5 of them showed up on https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/nominations.
I figured maybe it was just "stuck" or something and submitted another one on 2 days ago and that one showed up but still no sign on the missing one from July. All the other 5 from that day is also accepted now so I'm slowly giving up hope that it's actually in voting and will show up when a decision has been reached.
What do I do about this? Just go out and submit it again? Is this a known issue? I couldn't find an open thread on it in the known issue forum.

I had something similar happen in the last week. Submitted a nomination… got the email… it appeared in my list… but now is completely gone. It is almost like it was wiped from the database entirely.
Hmm.. I never checked if it was there at some point, I just noticed recently that I had 6 confirmation emails but only 5 "accepted" emails.
Maybe was the missing one to close to another waypoint.
It can be because it is in the same PokeStop placement cell.
Or it is closer then 20 meters from another waypoint.
If so you get a mail that it is elegible but it won't appear in the game.
Nah, I haven't gotten any mail about it and it's gone entirely from the wayfarer site. Waypoints within 20 metres that don't become portals (or stops) are still listed as "Accepted" even though they don't get added to any games. This nomination is no more, it has ceased to be, bereft of trace it rests in peace. Apparently.
Similar thing happened to me yesterday. It did show up on wayfarer, used an upgrade. Checked again 30 minutes later and it was gone. Still not back tofay. Lodged a support request on Pokemon go, but that's going round in circles.
