Would like to see date of submission when reviewing!

I think for transparency reasons and to track progress, Niantic Wayfarer should have the submission date on the submission so we can see it when we review. Personally I've been waiting on my own submissions for 4+ months, and I'd like to see, what I'm reviewing, in terms of how long people have been waiting for word on their nomination.

You can grab the photo and view the EXIF data but that’s a good thought. Occasionally some Scanner [Redacted] submissions show up (pre-Ingress Prime) without supporting photos so it’s interesting to see how long they’ve been in the system for.
I've had a nomination without supporting photo/information pop up for review a few days ago. It must be ancient, then!
If you’re UK based there’s one pinging around that’s from June 2018. Let people know that, next time they complain about waiting for stuff in the queue. 😆
How would that really help you as a reviewer?
Rate it higher because it has been waiting "for too long"?
How long is too long? 1 month, 3 months, 3 years?
@WheelTrekker-ING (mostly) beat me to it.
How would you use this information? Would you change your analysis in any way based on the age of the submission?
As for too long, about two weeks ago I got results from things I submitted in December 2018.
Simply no. Already now there are people, that reject stuff with snow in the pictures, when they review during summer, maybe because their own region is very fast and they don't know, that there are regions, where it takes years for a result. Your proposal would make this issue simply bigger .... for example there are enough PGO-reviewers out there, that dont know, that ING is allowed to use gallery photos.I submit snowy winter pictures, that I made in February also now. I submitted the best gym candidates first, then bit by bit the others. That takes time, and now is summer ..... I simply don't want that morons get unnecessary information, that could only lead to false rejections.
The only pro argument for this is, that Nia would show evryone how damn slow their algorithm and how clogged their queue is....
I thought all of your nominations were upgraded, how did this one take so long?
Photos barely have exif data on it. I only had the timestamp two times yet.
Niantic remove all EXIF data from the images. It wasn't always like that, previously there were Wayfarer plugins that could show you the photo taken date and also the coordinates of the photos, which was good as it helped determine the validity of the location (eg. if the photo coordinates were way off somewhere else, it generally indicated a fake submission).
Photo age is a good indicator to determine the average waiting time for the area too. Obviously more reviews with recent photos means a fast turn-around, and the converse would show that it is slow. The information isn't useful for reviewing, but it is informative when submitting.
Could have been hit by that bug a while back where "upgraded" nominations weren't actually upgraded.
I hadn't thought about it, but this is a solid argument against this idea.
Good to read others thoughts, I appreciate it. On the question how would it help me to review; I wouldn't change my review, but sometimes I just hit "skip" for various reasons, and I would think twice doing so, if I saw a timestamp that was very old - indicating this person has waited a very long time for a review. And secondly, truly transparency reasons. This is a strange process for someone not familiar with it. I would like to see how Niantic manages this, how long does it all take. As far as grabbing the photo and viewing the data, there was a comment that this is not possible anymore, did I read that correctly?
