How long do photo contributions take?
I added a few photos to some wayspots as the current ones are out-of-date. How long could I be waiting until my new photos are added? Is it roughly the same time as a regular Pokestop nomination, or will it go faster because it is only adding an image to an existing wayspot?

Experiences may vary by area. I added a few photos on August 1 and they went through around August 5th, but that was also in an area that has a fast turnover time for nominations (usually within a week).
When I was scanning portals, I was adding heaps of photos and they usually took about 1-4 days to come through, however, in late February that all stopped and only recently have they been going through again (6 months later).
I don't think all photos are peer reviewed via Wayfarer, so most may take some extra time to be reviewed. Others are reviewed by Niantic directly and go through quicker.
Maybe give it a week, or two and see how you go.
I've had three come through in the last week, one in a major US city and one in a smallish town in the desert. All three were within a week.
It really depends, but from my experience sometimes photo review takes less or more time, even if you add some photos to differen POIs in the same time.
I got some photos reviewed and added in a few days, some in 1-2 weeks, some took a bit more than a month, and I still have some that are still in review (I took them 2 months ago I think).
All of these photos were added in the same location but to a different POIs, so it seems to be rather random (all are in the same voting cell).
I hope yours will be reviewed soon :)
