Permanent Custom Decorative Tree Grates?

Would the attached photo be considered a 'unique art or architecture' and have a good chance of being approved? I see two of these here while the other plants in the area are just located in dirt and don't have any engravings.

With a few seconds of searching (for a couple of the words used plus "tree grate"), I found that they are custom made by these folks:
Having said that, though, I think most people would find these as more "decorative" than "art," which is where the nomination would falter. I don't think this has a particularly high chance of being approved.
Yeah in the original image we see a similar possibly identical grate in the background? Feels like one of those things that gets added for character and the first time they're cool, but they lose their lustre quickly.
Which brings up an interesting question, if a neighborhood commissions custom tree grates, that's kinda cool and notable, but at the same time, are the however many tree grates in the neighborhood worthy of being poi? Is there some compromise?
If exercise equipment is all in the same general area, Niantic said to nominate one waypoint for the set.
But if spread out, this comparison breaks down. If you go to a park for exercise, you might hunt down all the different equipment along a trail. If you go to a plaza to see the art on a grate, you wouldn't hunt down each identical grate.
Either way, I'd say one nomination for the set of tree grates.

Id probably nominate it. Its unique, ive never seen one like it before. I would how ever say to only try to get one if theres multiple of the same thing since if one gets in the others would not be as unique for poi
