Wayspot in PoGo without pokemons?

Hello everybody! I had got accepted a pokestop and a gym a week ago. Today I have seen them for the first time because I have been abroad. My surprise is that they don't show any pokemon and I wanted to know if you have to wait 1-2 weeks before showing Pokemons, wait for an update or something.
