Topic: Request to update PokemonGo Map

About City Forest: City Forest Park, which is located on the banks of the Hindon, has walking trails, cycle tracks,, horse-riding facility and guided tours for visitors with open gypsy/jeep rides.The project, which is spread across 150 acres,and is offering the public an opportunity to try all rides .
The park is open from 5am to 7.30pm on all seven days. The pathway for hikers is narrower. Trees like neem, bamboo, amla, jamun, arjun have been planted along the routes, “This gives the whole place the look of a natural forest,In the last one year, nearly two lakh saplings of different varieties have been planted in the area in addition to the existing tree cover of the region. The entire project area has been divided into nine blocks – A to I – with different features and facilities in each part.
Two water bodies in the park – a five acre and a three-acre lake – will have boating facilities for visitors. The three-acre lake is a natural wetland whereas tube wells have been set up for the five acre lake to augment water supply to it. The lakes are expected to attract migratory birds in the coming winters.
A deer park spread across five acres has also been proposed. The Authority will also develop a bamboo park and has sought technical advice from the Delhi’s chief conservator of forests and Forest Research Institute of Dehradun. i
Its a beautiful place for picnic.

I don't get what you want. New Wayspots? A new in-game map?
The in-game map is based on OSM, it seems that your photos are already Wayspots.
If you want new wayspots in the park, you and fellow users (who play Pokemon Go or Ingress) in the area are gonna have to submit them.
If the park itself is missing from the base map on Pokemon Go, then as Luke said, that's based on the database of OpenStreetMap, and doesn't have to do with Wayfarer.
Post is about to update Ingame Map or you can say base map.
OSM is already updated on Jan 2020.
I had long conversations regrading this with Niantic Support but All it was worthless.
So, I post it here to knew members views
It's about Updating Base Map. Park Was Already Updated In OSM On Jan 2020 But Still It's Missing In PokemonGo Map.

But since you've contacted the in-game support (or at least Remy), what did they say?
I knew but I have no other place to discuss this since support didn't helped me regarding this.

Last month after a long time we got base map update in our area but they didn't update CITY FOREST area in Pokémon Go
You're right. There's no official place to discuss anything related to Pokemon Go.
I guess that several people have already reported this thread as offtopic and it will be closed soon, but the fact is that: Niantic only provides a useless "support" that only knows how to read scripted answers. A few days ago there was a thread in Reddit where a user pasted a crazy conversation about the pokestop distances: he's in Canada and due to the S2 cells implementation they got the distance reduction and the "support" kept on pasting the same reply about changes in USA and NZ, that person was totally unable to notice that the user was talking about a different country.
We can only hope that some day Niantic is able to earn some money and provide proper support channels as well as hire some people to handle Wayfarer and bring it forward.
It does suck that there’s no official Niantic space to discuss Pokémon GO. Though NianticGiffard has mentioned that feedback regarding a Niantic Pokémon GO forum similar to this Wayfarer one, the Ingress one and ones for all the other games has been passed on.

Still, even with a “proper” Pokémon GO forum, I think they’d shut down a topic asking them to update the maps.
Additionally, it seems very weird to me that people would report a thread as being off topic due to it mentioning Pokémon GO related stuff. I comment about it, sure, but I don’t flag it.
Niantic have money for this they only need to make some changes a little nit coding and map updating
In the absence of a PoGo thread, general discussion is a perfectly acceptable place to discuss PoGo-related topics. It is for GENERAL discussion after all. Of course people are going to talk about things related to the games using Wayfarer, because that's the entire point of Wayfarer. Why anyone would report those threads or call on someone to close them down is bizarre. You can simply not read threads about games you don't like. They hurt no one.
If the original thread topic references a game, or a game is brought up in conjunction with the thread topic and relates to it, it is still entirely on topic. A simple pinned FAQs section could help with people asking about map upgrades and other such requests that Wayfarer doesn't handle. For all other general discussions, we're in the right spot.
They update the map globally. As the map they use is user sourced, they don't use completely up to date data, and they don't let us know when exactly they take the data from. This reduces the potential for abuse by editing the map.
Given that we've just had a map update, and it was about a couple of years since the previous map update, you may be waiting a while for the update that shows things as they are now.
Agreed we all want better gaming experience without a proper map it's not possible. Currently this place look like this.
I did think about this. Are we in the right spot for this discussion? Is this General discussion area meant to be about Wayfarer in General, as we are on the Wayfarer Forums, or just a more General topic where we could discuss anything? Pokémon GO, Harry Potter, the meaning of life?

So, for now, it seems that Pokémon GO and related discussions are a no. General means, general Wayfarer-related discussions not General Niantic or otherwise discussions. I do hope a Niantic Pokémon GO forum is considered by the right folks as judging by discussions we get here, it would be used.
I had long conversations with NIANTIC SUPPORT for around 2-3 Months It started on May 22 2021 and the Last Message was on July 9 2021 and Every time they replied,

Regarding, Whether this is a Proper place to discuss PokemonGo issues or Not?
Maybe some people will not agree with my views but you tell me where should we discuss this matter on Reddit or other Non-Niantic Platforms?

I think that’s part of the problem. This topic in particular is teetering between Wayfarer related and Pokémon GO related going more towards Pokémon GO. (It doesn’t matter to a Wayfarer whether the map is updated to allow for relevant roads etc.)
Pokémon spawns aren’t a thing related to Wayfarer. I don’t nominate a good Waypoint thinking how it will affect Pokémon spawns or EX Raid Gyms, they’re purely for Pokémon GO discussions.
There does need to be a place for Pokémon GO discussions that Niantic can moderate and review etc. but this isn’t the place for it.
A discussion would mean 2 or more people talking to each other. If you just want to talk to random people, then any other place like reddit, facebook, discord, ... is as valid as this one. We can't do anything about the map, there's no one that will say "Yes, the map should stay as is without updates! and I don't care that the park isn't displayed in Pokemon" We can empathize with you and your community. So in the end it's not a discussion if we agree that it would be better if your park showed properly in Pokemon.
I guess that what you really want is not a discussion, but a reply from Niantic. Sadly that won't happen here, they will direct you to contact support or paste that same answer about constantly improving the map. They won't make any special promise to you, otherwise everyone that has any kind of issue with the Pokemon map would start creating post in order to update their local map.
Sooner or later someone will report this thread as offtopic, and that's probably the first and last answer that you will get in this thread to close it.
Is this systemic issue in India? Are there a significant number of parks that were on osm labeled as such? If so, then the that information should be relayed to pokemon go team. That's different than some of my stuff in rural areas where parks and nature preserves aren't on osm. There isn't the population to trigger an ex-raid so not really a problem but this might be worth looking into.
They also have Twitter for support but I think you'd get the same answer.
I guess none of us nominated based on whether POI is in Parks or Not but I shared the fact that parks have more spawns as compared to other areas.
These issues may be tagged as off-topic but how can we find solutions to this issue while tagging it as off-topic?
Agreed they'll direct me to contact Support but I already contacted support on Twitter and Ingame Support as well.
So the question is what after support?
Agreed with your views that everyone may start raising map updating issues but don't we need to raise issues to sort out as early as possible? These issues are Supposed to be sorted out by Niantic Support but what if everytime they replied the same things again and again.
maybe it's not a proper place to raise this issue but I have no other place to raise this issue.
It feels bad when you develop an entire portal network in a park over a period of 1 year or more with a hope to develop a local community but get no support from Niantic.

As mentioned, I don’t think the Wayfarer forum is the right place for it and as @WheelTrekker-ING notes, it’s likely someone has flagged it as off topic and Giffard/Atlas/VK will swing by to close it down when they log in.

As far as I know, There's no dedicated place to discuss PokemonGo issues. Since i didn't get any proper reply from the abovementioned parties ( Niantic support etc) so I thought members and trainers who might have experience regarding this may guide me to sort out this issue. I hope I'll get a satisfactory result from this post.

Good question if the abovementioned parties ( Niantic support etc) have no solutions regarding this issue then where should I raise this issue in the future? do u know any better place for this? or i should stay silent on this issue since they don't have any dedicated group for this.

So, by this you can guess how much they knew about their own product.
