I have this pokestop that I upgraded around the 27th of July I have yet to receive results. I find it concerning that when I ask people they say it usually takes a day or 2 . thank you

We won’t be able to do anything with that nomination ID. Yes, it could be normal that it takes time for you to get a decision. Depends on amount of reviewers and the ratings they give.
I have one that an upgrade i did not earn was applied to (i didn't do the russia or other challenges) in June that hasn't moved. Did you apply the upgrade or did it just show up? I think mine is a visual bug since any upgrades i have earned since then and applied myself have received a decision.
Are you sure it's marked "upgrade" and not "upgrade next?"
I have exactly the same situation. I had something that had been languishing in the queue since the winter that had that random free upgrade applied to it in June prior to the Russia upgrades being issued. It not only hasn't been processed, but it's still in the queue. Like you, all of my subsequent upgrades have been decided up upon quickly (within hours except for during the peak Russia upgrade time period).

Okay, no offence meant but it happens more often than you'd think.
Out of my 20-30 upgrades, only one of them took more than 4 days to get a decision. The one was in voting for three weeks and finally got accepted.
One of possible reasons for this is, your nomination is located on a dry voting area at which less reviewers are reviewing your nomination, even with upgrade.
Where's your nomination located at?Nvm, it's Kuwait. You'd better to ask some reviewers here to choose your country as bonus location.

The thing is my non-upgraded stop got accepted before somehow when it was upgraded on the 28th of august i
honestly nominations aproval and denyal time frame is based on the people reviewing in that area at the time ive seen some upgraded ones go as long as a year with out being aproved or denyed and some go as soon as a few hours. all the upgrade does is say they will send it to more people quicker when it gets reviewers for that area active
