Problem with "NEW POKESTOP" button which disappeared from the Main Menu - Setings on iPhone SE 2020

Hi,
I hope this is the right place for a question and someone can help me. I didn't find the Problem in the latest posts.
Since update 1.181.1 the Main Menu doesn't allow me to nominate NEW POKESTOPS (attachment below). The last time I checked the nomination button, it was available on August 4th. Could you please review this?

it's disabled for about a week while they are fixing a few bugs causing crashes
This isn't a bug... Its been a week long overhaul of the Wayfarer system Pokemon Go nominations (and Ingress now or later?) are to be paused for a week.
I don't mean to be crass but people please READ the announcements and other threads theres been so many people thinking its a bug and "why arent my nominations showing up on the map today?" its part of the update pause...
You actually expect people unfamiliar with the forums to know they are supposed to check the announcements?
Niantic could have added a message to the app itself (replace the button with a message saying it's disabled). Or directly add this to the initial page of the forums. Or at least fix one of the posts with this question...
I suppose that is true. The forum needs an "overhaul" too... A sticky highlighted announcement at the top would be a welcome addition.
The Ingress Forums do a “Promoted Content” section at the top. Something similar would help here.
All the forums use the same system so should be a case of flicking a switch and choosing what is promoted.
Do you know when will the "New Pokestop" button come back ?
The post mentioned here;
notes that it will down from Wednesday 11th, and suspended for a week. So it should be back today at some point unless further work needs to be done still.

Thanks for letting us know it's still crashing. Is this issue still persistent today (8/29/21)? Please let me know so that I may report it to our team and get it looked at.
@NianticTintino yup. Just restarted my phone and cleared the cache again (just in case) and then opened the game and attempted to make a submission, but got the crash again. The crash happens when I hit the tick button after taking the first photo to confirm that I want to use it. Is there any other information I can provide that may help to get to the root of this issue?

I suspect players are clearing their Browser’s cache. Is this what they’re supposed to do?
Instead (or Also?) they should Refresh Game Data in that obscure place way near the bottom of Settings in-game: Advanced Settings
I don’t know if it works, but it can’t hurt to be clear what is being asked or reported.
@Eneeoh-PGO I've been clearing both the cache for the game (which I can do by going into Settings > Apps > Pokémon Go > Storage & Cache on my phone), and the cache for the entire phone (which I have the option of doing each time I reboot my phone). I have also refreshed the game data since this failed fix was implemented, as I had the issue where the new Galar Pokémon appeared tiny on the map and that required a refresh to fix it. It still doesn't work for me if I'm using my phone's default camera app, even if I set the photo quality to the absolute lowest I can get it.
I highly doubt it's a RAM issue, as I've got 6GB of RAM, and the crash still occurs even if Pokémon Go is the only open app (and I also have friends who only have 2GB of RAM on their phones and the submission process works perfectly). It would have to be a massive unexpected spike of RAM usage to be a RAM based crash.
That being said, I'm not the most technologically minded person. Maybe the app does cause a huge increase in RAM usage on certain phones at the exact moment the tick is pressed. I don't honestly know. What I do know is that the camera works fine when doing other actions in app, such as taking snapshots of Pokémon or AR scans. I've also never had crashes in Ingress (both Redacted and Prime) when using the camera.
If I was to hazard a guess (and it's not even an educated guess to be completely honest), I think the problem is within the coding of the Pokémon Go app itself, and that it can only be fixed with an update to the coding that handles Wayfarer integration in app. The maintenance that was recently performed was on Wayfarer side of things as far as I'm aware, and not the Pokémon Go side.
