Looking for feedback after rejection

Hi,

I nominated the following and it got rejected (very quickly) for "Nomination does not meet acceptance criteria."

I would appreciate hints as to what exactly was wrong. I've seen other stops at unique stores in rural areas so had imagined it was at least possible to get such places nominated.

Unique store featuring all manner of things from local artisans and food producers"

    You need to really convince the reviewers that this store is worth visiting. Why would I go there and not to another? What makes it unique? Your description is pretty bland.

    if you post your pictures and your supporting info on here as well, that might help.

    Although I'm not the biggest fan of submitting artwork at a business instead of the business itself, I think you'd be better off if you submitted the square mural on the front of the barn. Those tend to get approved quicker and that one even has a dedicated light, indicating that it is permanent and meant to be seen.

    Definitely try the mural! If you want to try the store again, I'd go into much more detail about what kinds of "things" they sell, how long they've been there, what makes it locally special, if they have events for the community, etc., etc.
