Indoor Hockey Ice Rinks
Came across a submit where the submitter is trying to make the two indoor Ice rinks into waypoints. They are in operation all year round (so not seasonal) and the community sports complex entrance that houses them is already a waypoint. I gave them approval stars based on exercise. Furthermore I felt this was no different than a park which has tennis courts and or basketball courts in them. The park entrance would be a waypoint and the outdoor fields in them are additional waypoints. What are your thoughts? Thanks.

I think your analysis seems reasonable. If the sole purpose of the community sports complex is to gate access to the rinks, some reviewers may call the rinks duplicates, but they should be large enough/distinct enough to merit being separate Wayspots, and certainly fulfill the social and exercise criteria.
If a single soccer/baseball/basketball complex can have 6 or 8 or 20 of the same waypoint over and over and over, or a single hiking trail can have the same rotting stick waypoint every 1/4 mile, no reason an indoor ice facility couldn’t have two rinks.
Some reviewers might reject without an indoor photosphere, some might tag the rink itself as duplicate - which are probably both valid judgements - but this does sound like it’s reasonably within the criteria guidelines.
Part of the indoor sports centre so a duplicate for me.
I’d accept it. If a park can have multiple baseball/soccer fields as poi’s I can’t see why a sport complex can’t have multiple ice rink poi’s.
As others have said, I'd accept them on their own merits. If outdoor sports complex can have multiple things in them submitted on their own, indoor ones should be the same
Just suit the building
