And a Chick-fil-A and other common businesses that do not meet the eligibility or acceptance criteria, so I doubt that it is being directly handled by Niantic employees. Still, the only time that Niantic has said anything about painted fire hydrants is to declare them unacceptable because they meet the rejection criteria for interfering with emergency services; a stance that I am 100% in agreement with. Niantic said the exact same thing about historic/iconic red telephone booths that have been converted into defibrillator stations like the one below. And I didn't see the definition of an emergency service changing with the 3.1 criteria update. So no matter how much false equivalence and other counter examples that people have made throughout this topic, it doesn't change the fact that they are not acceptable.
ok but what about the unfalse equivalencies you're ignoring? Any thinking person can see that these things will effectively never obstruct EMS the way a firestation waypoint would, i know you never admit you're wrong but come on. and besides, this thread is about removals. i recently had over a dozen fire station waypoints removed via this forum with no issue whatsoever while OP of this thread had a removal for a hydrant rejected. the quality of new nomination reviewing coming from niantic is an entirely separate thing from the handling of removal requests. if they're looking at a request like this and rejecting it, that says something.
meanwhile i'm still reviewing nominations on military bases several times a day after making a concerted effort to get a solid answer there for the past 2 years.

I completely forgot about this yesterday.
This was internally reviewed and accepted by Niantic.
I'm wondering if you double-posted the above because you weren't sure it even got through to the moderation stage in the first place.
Well, they have accepted an ALDI, so...

I am more concerned if they are subject for removal.

Oh stop with the military bases. You got your answer long ago, you just don’t like it.
Same goes for fire hydrants.
The answer that military bases and fire hydrants are fine because they don't interfere with operations, right? Good!
