How long from the time a nomination is deemed eligible, until it appears in the Pokemon Go?

I've noticed over the least week or so, that my nominations are being reviewed much quicker than before, which is great. But I've also noticed that not all of my nominations are appearing in the game. Of my last 10 nominations that were deemed eligible, only 2 have appeared in the game so far. Is that normal? How long should it take?

Normal, not all waypoints are used in PoGo, an accepted waypoint does not mean it will be in your specific game.
Please keep in mind that not all eligible PokéStop nominations are able to appear live in Pokémon GO, depending on proximity to other PokéStops; however, they may appear in other Niantic games.
From the email. Not all nominations appear in all games (or any games sometimes with Lightship now).
Besides the answers above, to answer "how long will it take," it should usually show up by the next day, if eligible for Pokémon GO based on proximity "rules." Their is a standard sync time, and a nomination must be accepted several hours before then, or else it appears the next day. Usually. Unless there are other glitches going on.
Thanks for the feedback everyone. That's what I suspected, that they were in the game but not in Pokemon Go. That's too bad, as I only play PoGo. My favorite thing to do with this game is to nominate pokestops, so it's disappointing when my nominations become eligible, but do not appear in the game I actually play. Bummer.
search for in-game cells, and something like pogomap to put where you already have pokestops, and, based on where your pokestops will be applied. If your nomination is eligible, and your cell is occupied by another waypoint/pokestop, you can search for another eligible candidate in another cell.
Note: Never send a candidate within 20 meters of each other, even if they are in another cell.
in pogomap you click on tools, and select s2 cells in the tab, and in the visual tab choose s2 cells and choose level 17, and if you are interested, map style = satellite.
