Incomprehensible and false refusal

Hello, It was with amazement that I saw my proposal refused, for good reason: ". Your application is rejected for the following reason: The proposal is false and does not exist at the site submitted, There was not enough evidence demonstrating that the proposal correctly represented the actual location, based on a comparison between the proposed photo and the map views " When I review a proposal, I take the time to look at Street View. This washhouse exists not only on Street View, but also on village postcards. To avoid such painful reasons for rejection, should we add that these historical monuments are on postcards and on Street View? Thank you

Well, I checked your nomination and it looks like you got perfectly correct rejections.
Your nomination is a historic wash house - it should be eligible as culturally or historically important (especially when people would see this plaque that seems to be put on building), but you did everything you could to made your nomination rejected with rejection reasons you got.
I checked location where you put it, and it was in the middle of building that from map view looks like single family house, and from closer look on streetview, looks like farmohouse or building company. And there wasn't anything even similar to your nomination in close area to this building. Streetview is from 2021, so there is no chance it wouldn't be visible on it.
And after I checked this area more, I found your nomination. It was around 100 m away from area where you placed your pin. It is visible on map view (it even has a pin with photos), it's also visible on streetview, but it's rather far away from your nomination.
So, it's not weird you get rejection for it being fake - it doesn't exit in place you put pin on, it looks more like you wanted to make fake POI to get couch POI near your house - and if reviewer don't search more than a few meters away, he/she won't find this nomination. So fake nomination rejection seems to be correct.
Rejection for mismatched location is correct too - this one was probably chosen by reviewers that did look more in the area and find this place in it's corect location, as pin was definetly mismatched, and put very badly.
If you want to get it accepted, be sure to put pin in correct location, as doing it like you did before might be considered abuse. I can't say if you did it intentionaly, or you had such big problems finding your nomination on map while doing submission, but your nomination location is mismatched pretty badly.
Well, "couch POI" wasn't pointless meaness - it's pretty often used term for POIs that are definetly misplaced and put on house of someone - so he/she can have POI available from they home (they can sit on couch in they home and interact with POI - this is where the name come from).
I didn't wrote you definetly did it like that, I wrote that it looks like couch POI. I put this phrase to make you understand what reviewers see when they see such misplaced POI put on some building that looks very much like a single family house (it migh not be, be at first glance looks like it). So, checkig for sure if your pin is added in correct place is definetly good idea in the future ;)
I'm glad I could help you and you now know what you can do to improve this nomination. I hope it will be accepted next time in it's correct location. Good luck!
Thank you very much, I often see this term and indeed I know very well that some have the temptation. (but I was not upset ;-))
I realize that indeed, if you're not careful, the POI can be moved quite far from where we are. Typically your analysis is good and will call for attention.
Thank you so much. Good week
