I was reviewing and came across a small Koi Pond pictured below. The pond is roughly 5ft by 5ft and man made. Its in an accessible area in front of a building.
How would you rate a Koi Pond?
Some of my thoughts, Live Fish visible in shot but not main focus. Man-made very similar to a fountain as the Waterfall in the back is an electric pump just line a fountain. It is a "Man-Made" Natural Feature as it is a pond, but its size also makes it not really the same as a lake or mountain and its more of a point of interest such as a Fountain.
What is your opinion?

There are larger man-made lakes/bodies of water that don't qualify. Signs for the lakes can qualify though.
So I guess it would would depend if it had a sign or not, since it could be interpreted as a natural feature.
I would say no. It might be a man-made landscaped site, but ultimately it's nothing but a bunch of rocks and water - natural features. It provides no real value as a point of interest and has no significance on its own for it to be notable.
Maybe the koi pond where Hanako resided, the world's oldest koi fish at 226 years used to live, might be eligible. But even that would need an info sign or something to give significance to the location, the sign would be eligible, but the koi pond itself without the sign is just another generic pond composed of natural features and not distinctive on its own.
Then I pose a question to you. Since it has an electronic Pump Water Fall how is that different then a Fountain?
I can't recreate the "F.R.I.E.N.D.S." intro in a koi pond.
If your Friends are fish you certainly can :)
