Add a Re-Review option?

I've submitted 14 nominations.
I'm very familiar with the criteria, as I review nominations myself.
All all but one got rejected for bs reasons like "no pedestrian access" when my supporting image and text clearly depicted the location was ON A sidewalk.
I think someone from a nearby town is being a **** and intentionally rejecting all submissions for my area.
Since there is no way for me to file a complaint against them, it would be nice to have a. "Re-Review" request option on nominations where another reviewer can take a look at it, and the original reviewer CANNOT.

100 % agree.
Sick of someone who has never been there rejecting nominations saying doesn't exist or the like!
What criteria would you think your example photos met?
From the angle, it does appear to be hanging over the road, so it is understandable why some reviewers may have chosen pedestrian access as a reason to reject. Just getting within a few feet of the object is not enough, you have to be able to directly access it's location. But @MelodyS1988-PGO also brings up the point that it doesn't meet any of the eligibility criteria anyways.
You seem not familiar with the criterias or the reviewing process.
I think someone from a nearby town is being a **** and intentionally rejecting all submissions for my area.
It doesn't work that way. A nomination needs a lot of reviewers to accept/reject your submission before it's accepted or rejected.
In my experience, banners like those are likely to be taken down. 1* as temporary.
Nobody is tanking your nominations on purpose, though I understand thinking that when the feedback is inconsistent and inaccurate.
If you’re not convinced, use your upgrades and your nominations will go outside your local area, then you can see what reviewers in the rest of the world think.
Are you sure you're as familiar with the criteria as you think? Everyone claims that, and yet their nominations often don't measure up.
Maybe your description and justification could save that sign, but at first glance it's just one of several generic location banners which are probably repeated in several places, and are often temporary. Maybe you should post your full nominations for input before blaming reviewers.
I've submitted 15 nominations.
14 of which which were unique business signs on the sidewalk.
From hotels to unique, family owned restaurants.
I see a whole lot of hypothetical bs from all the replies. The fact of the matter is all my nominations are
1) accessible
2) safe
3) permanent
4) place for socialization or historical building.
5) included a detailed description of why the location is a good stop and which criteria it met
For all to get rejected when there are garbage cans approved in nearby towns is absurd.
Hi Trainer KingRomey
This nomination has been rejected due to the following reason(s):
Photo of the nomination appears to be of a body part instead of a valid object, Nomination does not meet acceptance criteria, The real-world location of the nomination appears to have explicit or inappropriate activity.
There needs to be consequences for blindly rejecting nominations with BS reasons.
Downtown of a tourist town.
High foot traffic area
Family oriented area
Visually unique sign
Permanent sign
Easily accessible
Great place to be social
People like you should be banned from ever reviewing a stop.
Just because you live in a city with a bunch of historical **** to nominate doesn't mean that a town of 2000 has your local features on every corner.
It isn't so much that they are likely to be taken down as it is that they are a generic sort of sign that many urban neighborhoods have every block or two. There are similar ones in my neighborhood (a historical area with heavy foot traffic, sidewalks, etc.) and I would not submit them because they are so common and generic.
Despite the OP arguing that it is a visually unique sign, it is the logo of the Dells River Arts District and identical ones are posted on every light pole there.
So you don’t know the criteria.
Acceptance criteria are: great place to exercise, great place to socialize, great place to explore.
I can’t - and won’t - speak to garbage cans in the next town over. I know I didn’t review them. I certainly didn’t nominate them. You can report them and try to get them removed if you’re feeling froggy. Suffice to say the inclusion of ineligible POIs over there does not justify the inclusion of ineligible POIs over here.
This is a town of 2000 people.
Again, hypothetical BS.
It's not a duplicate. It's a distinct feature. And it absolutely isn't found anywhere outside that block.
"In my experience"
Your experience does not apply to the entire world pumpkin.

Hi there! Based on the content of the discussion, I have decided to close this thread for future comments. Your understanding is appreciated.
Yeah, super "unique". There are multiple ones per block with different colors depending on the block.
There are plenty of eligible wayspots in the area. You are posting in the nomination improvement category but do not seem interested in actually improving nominations.
