Are these signs eligible?

I have a few signs im very uncertain of if they could get approved. I want to hear what you think.
The first one is a plaque "in memories of" below a street sign which is named off of him, a known pastor from my town. (got declined once because it doesnt match the criteria)
This one indicates the "route of the industrial culture" hiking path/route. That nearby is one of the point of interests of said route which goes through our state and my town.

None of these signs meet the criterias. They are standard manufactured signs.
I would tend to accept the trail marker one but not the other, though I tend to reject most memorial type objects for an individual unless the person is significant and the supporting information makes the case for that if it is someone locally prominent. I don't think I would vote to approve a simple memorial street sign though even if the person was famous.
There has been a fair amount of clarification on trail markers recently. The consensus from Niantic is that most signs that indicate a hiking trail are fair game, regardless of how they look. Doesn't matter if its a wooden, plastic, or metal sign. Anything that is specific to a named trail or specific to that installation is good with them. Getting them through however is another matter.
While I would be ok with the first one as well, it's going to take a really great right up and some real luck with reviewers to get that through. A pastor for a local church for 25 years is certainly someone that locally would be considered significant but that may not be enough to get it through. I would not upgrade either. Definitely keep them to the local voting pool as much as possible.
Good luck with them. Prepare to submit them several times and wordsmith the heck out of the supporting information.
I actually Gott a sign of the Route Industriekultur approved. Give some informations about this place and you habe a good chance that this geht's approved

First kne I wouldnt personally accept the second one, if its a hiking/historical trail, fair game to me
