does a freestanding sandbox fall within the criteria? I nominated but they rejected.
To begin, what were your rejection reasons? That’s the first part to answering your question about why it was rejected.
I can see where this could be eligible, as a play area. But if there is a playground POI nearby, then it would probably get tagged as a duplicate.
Thank you for nominating Granitowa piaskownica on Oct 4, 2021. Upon review by the Niantic community of players, we regret to inform you that this nomination is ineligible.
This nomination has been rejected due to the following reason(s):
The nomination does not appear to be visually unique, Nomination does not meet acceptance criteria.
So your main rejection reason, as truly supposed by @X0bai-PGO is "Not visually unique", which makes sense if the playground is a POI.
So your sandpit is considered by the reviewers as part of the playground, which is in accordance with Niantic statements.
there is no playground there, just a sandbox and a chessboard.
Ok, that's great for you so it's totally eligible on his own.
What Title, description and supplementary infos did you give to the reviewers?
It definitely deserve to be resubmitted !
Tranlate: Granit sandbox
Sandbox at the Granit st. in Świętochłowice.
Ok, I will report agan.
I don’t understand those rejection reasons here. I think this is a worthwhile nomination as a play area.
Nomination looks good to me. There's definitely no other play equipment nearby. I can envision no reasonable reason to reject it. Some reviewers are unreasonable though.
