Submission Process

Hello all, sorry if this is a topic that has been covered. I am happy to ready any prior posts about this topic if anyone has a link handy.

I was hoping that the community could enlightenment on the process from submitting a nomination to the end process where it gets added in game in terms of Pokemon Go. I will add that I am not trying to say my nomination is more important than another's, just trying to understand where in the process my nomination is and what to expect for the other nominations.

In my case I have one nomination in review. It seems to be peer review from other post I have read as I do not see the niantic symbol.

I also have other nominations in queue which makes sense. However the nomination that is in review, was the newest submission and not oldest.

So again, can any one explain the steps of the process.

    The nominations do not go in first in first out order for some reason. The length of time a nomination stays in voting varies greatly by area. If the nomination is accepted, it may not appear in Pokémon go based on its proximity to other waypoints. But it usually occurs the next day. However, there have been some serious delays lately
