Additional information: an appeal for the removal of the wayspot was made and denied, but the picture was removed.
The picture was restored, I think following the work on the portals that were not in ingress (liking the picture of the wayspots in pogo was a workaround to make the portal appears in ingress, but the key and the AP was not given. Not sure if it is to completely fixed).

Yesterday I have received an e-mail of acceptance for a new photo of that wayspot, but the new photo is not visible in Ingress scanner.
I also did submit some other new pictures for that wayspot yesterday (and when I received the acceptance e-mail 3 hours later for this previous submission, I thought one of yesterday's had been accepted in that time span 😳). If accepted in lightship, we will see if they become visible in Ingress.
(@MagicalThorn-ING some new pictures as the discussion about that wayspot removal was closed because “drama”! 🙄)
