Just found this while reviewing. Always found the same power supply at different locations. All of the fake location areas seem to have the same/similar fakes:

Since those POIs are all similar and clustered, I expect that they got created by the same person. Also, any POI-selling or a bigger fake network might be involved. At least, that would explain the clusters with always the same POIs.

How do you know that something is a fraud and others are original? Were you there checking these spots or just checking ingress maps?

1. Internet. For the cheese Power supply, you can see a nearby memorial in the photo. This one only exists At one location.

2. Surroundings. Most of those POIs totally dont fit to its location. Different houses, no/more vegetation or just simply impossible/unlikely locations.

3. Nominations. I reviews some of them and quickly realised the same strucrure of the nominations.

4. Knowledge of fake areas. Most of the areas were known for fakes in th past.

5. Cells. Every Power supply always fits perfectly into the S2 grid. Suspicious for abuse.

While we are unable to discuss our actions in detail to protect the submitter’s privacy, they may include, but are not limited to, sending a warning message, placing restrictions on their Wayfarer, Pokémon GO, or Ingress account, putting their account on probation, or placing a temporary or permanent suspension on their Wayfarer, Pokémon GO or Ingress account.

In order to place the Wayspots at the correct location, we would need additional evidence (geotagged images, photospheres). Hence, if you may share additional information at your convenience, we can proceed to review the Waystops to place them at the correct location.

We clearly have the same submitters here. I think since you took actions against 5 wayfarers, this is a network of fakers. You should definitely compare their accounts for more fake POIs.
