I inadvertently placed the location for this new portal in the wrong location. I nominated the point of interest while at home, and I guess because I wasn't entirely familiar with the area, I unknowingly placed it in the wrong spot. I drove there tonight and tried to submit a removal, but I'm not sure I did it properly. Can it be removed? While I was over in that area, I went to the right place and submitted a new nomination in the proper location.
I was unable to submit an edit for the location because it is considerably further than 10-20 metres away.

Here is a picture of the area that I took tonight. As you can see, there is no playground in that area.

Your new nomination is going to be rejected as a duplicate. The proper process would have been to post a request in the location edit section here for a move over 10m.
A removal request is unlikely to be successful, at the minimum you will likely wait a while for it to get rejected then have to appeal.
Thank you. Any idea how long it takes a request here for something to be removed? I thought it would be removed by the time the new nomination went into voting
I reported a K-12 school near me that is currently a wayspot back at the beginning of October and I have yet to receive a response.
