Allow changing bonus location more often

There are quite some areas that still suffer from a lack of reviewers.
While on the other there are also reviewers that review a ton regularly.
Such reviewers are probably willing to contribute to such areas (for sure I would!).
On the other hand, currently choosing a bonus location is just a matter of luck, because it is impossible to know if you can have an impact.
So is anything like this planned for currently?

Related to this is the Home location. It is just a strange remnant from the old Ingress/OPR days, IMHO. It could just be remade to a second, changeable bonus location.
This question was just answered in the last AMA, i hope it doesn't take the place of a better question that truly needs answering.
Have you looked into reducing the 1-year lock on bonus locations? What are your reasons for and against this?
Following question 9, we have thought about possibly allowing a top tier of Explorers to help out smaller, less populated communities. This could look a variety of different ways and they may get this privilege of unlocking their locations periodically in 1 year. When it comes to the 1-year lock, we have this in place to ensure folks aren’t reviewing in areas they are not familiar with, eliminating the community relevance of a location which would make it interesting to them but not others.

Thanks that's interesting. However, with the upcoming Wayfarer Ambassador Program, they might have changed their opinion.
