Are flagpoles eligible nominations?

I have come across a couple of flagpole submissions during review, and I can't find any criteria regarding them. I decided to skip the nominations as I didn't know. This is my most recent. Are they eligible in general?

They are not eligible
That particular nomination would not be. There may be a few exceptions that could be eligible, but a simple flagpole like that isn't.
Even if they were eligible, wouldn't the example be ineligible because it is at a Scout camp?
Generally, no, flag poles are not eligible. There has to be something visually unique or historically significant beyond holding a nation, state or organization's banner. Sometimes flag poles have dedication monuments that may be wayspot worthy.
Thanks everyone! I know now that they are not eligible so I know how to review if they appear again.
I wasn't sure about Scout camps either, but if they are ineligible then I will review to reflect this. I've come across quite a few nominations for the camp that this flagpole is located at, and didn't know how to review.
I've always wondered, why arent they eligible? Depending where they are, I'd say they could make for great exploring or have historical or community importance. Is it because they are common place in America? In Glasgow I can only think of 2 flag poles (that arent on the sode of a building)
If you think they're common in America, just you wait until you visit the Mushroom Kingdom haha.
In all seriousness though, I can't think of any standalone flagpoles in my local area. They do seem to be less common on our side of the Atlantic.
Technically though, you need to do a lot of exercise and exploring to get to those flag poles in the mushroom kingdom 😂😂
