Is it possible to amend/correct a rejected wayspot nomination?
Hi, apologies if this has already been covered, but I have searched a number of times with different wording and have not come up with anything.
I have had a wayspot nomination rejected for "Orientation" and "Licence Plate".
The licence plates on the two cars on the edges of the photo are not remotely readable, even if you massively enlarge the photo, but I agree in principle with the reason for the rejection. I just didn't notice the cars when I took the photo, because they were so far away.
As for "Orientation", no disagreement at all; I have since taken much better photos of the proposed wayspot from a different angle.
My question is whether I need to submit a new nomination and just leave the old one as a rejection, or if it is possible to replace the original photo before making an appeal. I am guessing that it is not possible to amend a rejected nomination, or at least, if it is, then I cannot see how to do it.

You can’t replace the photo with an Appeal. It’s appealed as is, with whatever extra information you add.
You cannot make edits to rejected submissions.
You will need to do a new submission of the same POI, and ensure you make the improvements you’ve mentioned.

Great, thank you for the clarification, I have done that.
Hope that it gets through this time ;-)

Update: the same wayspot proposal, with a different photo, was accepted. Thanks @PkmnTrainerJ-ING for the advice!
