I'm interested to see if Niantic will reject these because they weren't reported in-app first and don't fall under the abuse/fake category.

I'd hope all of these will be removed quickly as the clearly meet one of the Niantic "Removal Criteria" - no pedestrian access - you could cite saftey issues as an overiding reason to remove these without going through the "process".

Due to the large number of roundabouts and traffic islands in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, it is difficult to report them all in the app. The diagram below shows how widely distributed all of them are and most of the player communities living there will probably not remove them themselves if requested. So we try to delete the wayspots, because they are all not publicly accessible without crossing a street without a pedestrian path. The wayspots cannot be properly scanned without endangering the players.
