we do not know whether the guy can upgrade... for exemple, I cannot even rate pokestops because everytime, since when I signed up, I receive the message No wayspots available for the moment...
Frustrating. System is totally broken while hundreds of accepted pokestops do not respect at all the rules (3 or 4 in one s2-17 cell instead of one should be directly forbidden by Niantic, but well... they do not care if you generate a pokestop and then you move it in this cell just to try to catch a gym)... I was so happy to become lvl 40 on PoGo just to review seriously the pokestops and, well. I still cannot do that and no one takes care about at Niantic company...
This is likely working as intended. Some of my nominations took well over a year to be reviewed. That's just the way things are. Sad but true.
In many places, you'll need to earn an upgrade to get something through voting in a reasonable amount of time. Each upgrade requires 100 agreements. An upgrade allows it to be voted on by a much wider area of reviewers. In this case an upgrade will probably greatly help you. So I'd keep reviewing to get the upgrade.
But also, 15 agreements for 40 reviews is kind of a low agreement rate. However, if POIs in your area take months to finish voting, it could be that the things you reviewed have not finished the voting process yet.
Writing "in an urban area with no gyms and very few pokestops" doesn't help at all with your nomination.
You must nominate valid candidates (and that church certainly looks like a good one), and it doesn't matter how many pokestops are around it. In fact the duplicates map will show that info to the reviewers.
Each nomination requires the votes of an undisclosed amount of people, it can take weeks, months or years to get approved or rejected. If you want it to move faster, earn an upgrade or tell other players around you to start reviewing.
40 reviews in two months means that you didn't even review one each day.

I do appreciate the confirmation that some pathos rhetoric in the description was helpful, and I’ll remove any hint of emotion.
My PoGo medal says 18 agreements, and just yesterday reached 51 nominations reviewed. I’ve been previously reassured that it just takes a while for others to vote to agree. I’ve gone in spurts of 15-25ish and waited for a period to see the agreements trickle in to get a sense of my ratio. I didn’t see any kind of requirement for frequency; is there some unspoken expectation on workloads? Pardon my acclimation methods.
There's no requirement to spend time or do any other thing that you prefer, it just takes 100 agreements to get an upgrade.
It's up to you how long do you wanna wait for it. Some people never review and others spend quite a lot of time.
The more reviews you do the quicker the local backlog will be cleared and the more often you hit 100 agreements the more upgrades you get and it speeds up the review time for you too.
You marked your next upgrade nomination but you don't reach the 100 agreements/points for get the upgrade. Your nomination now is in voting. Maybe it's going to be accepted/rejected before you earn the upgrade and then you should to choose another nomination before 100% (because if you have a nomination in queue and reach the 100% the upgrade is applying randomly )
Anyone having an issues with nominations being stuck in voting? Currently have like 10 nominations that have been in voting for a little over a month. Typically would see nominations get accepted or declined between 1-1.5 weeks.
Have also noticed that locations have disappeared from gifts and Pokemon location tags since the last update which I think they're working on. Not sure if that has any influence on the nomination process.
Yep, my mates and I have a bunch from July that's like that. Ones from June and prior, plus ones submitted this month seem to be fine - usual processing time. Our local community also haven't seen those nominations to be voted on in wayfarer since when they first went into voting.
Thank you to everyone’s insight heretofore—it’s helped me get a better understanding of the mechanics at play outside of the tutorial alone.
I’ve seen this sentiment echoed on various corners of the internet, so please pardon what might be a redundant question, but:
I’m at the two month marker, still without visible progress “In Voting”. Is this “normal”/is it possible this is a glitch? I’ve seen mention of this happening on places like Reddit.
I’d like to begin submitting more nominations, but I’m reticent to do so without the reassurance of approval for my first. (That virtue of patience has never been a forte; I’m so disappointed every time I log in and see nothing’s changed.)
Thanks again, Wayfarers.
Hello,
I am coming to you because I have about twenty proposals for pokéstops on wayfarer which are still pending a vote since early July 2020.
Is this normal?
Best regards
no it is not. After the flushing out in March the system went back to its normal mode. Since 2-3 month there is basicly not much happening. 2 sides of this are: holidays in the summer and generally people lost interest in Niantic and Wayfarer because of different factors.
There are people with nominations waiting for over a year, so July 2020 seems like a dream to them.
BTW, are you related to https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/6937/pokestops-proposals-invalidated-by-ingress-players ?
I find it interesting to have two Lost***42 from France writing in such a similar way.
yes, that should be correct.
i myself have about 45 in voting, and about 41 in queue. my sons also have some more less in queue and voting.
after the flush out in March began, i got alot of % - after it ended, and the system slowed down in june, there isnt much coming as the "fantastic" system rather gives things out to vote, and gives more things out into voting, and doesnt recognize that these votes cannot be totally fulfilled as other things nearby are in vote and in queue, and then it gives more things into vote - and when that is done, even more people get things to vote.
as you see, the system is not fulfilling things that are in vote totally. they just continue to linger, and sometimes even things i add via Ingress do miracously end up accepted after 3 days.
sure, you can say the things that are a bit cricital in voting might not get enough votes, and then end up in limbo.
the system is programmed that way, and will continue to collect things that are in voting, instead of fullfilling it. i could continue with the same sentence again and again. that is how the system operates.
There might be disagreements in those 8,7000. Do you expect a 100% agreement rate?
Yes. That's how it's supposed to work.
Disagreements do not exist. There is Accepted or Rejected/Duplicate. Disagreements is would be the things which are still in voting.
You don't get mails saying "Yeah sry, people couldn't get to an agreement whether it should be rejected or accepted."
As @rodensteiner-ING wrote (and as I think for a long time already), the system keeps piling new upgraded and non-upgraded stuff onto stuff which still somewhat needs reviews, stuff which probably mainly isn't upgraded at all and gets pushed back into the far background with each new submission entering voting. Hence why this stuff hardly ever gets any agreements, like 2 of my reviews after 3 1/2 months of nothing happening at all, by apparently sheer coincidence.
I can say I myself pretty much never reviewed anything which in voting for 3+ months. On the photos it was always the actual season of the year, mainly the past 2 weeks. And if I did 200 reviews in a row, in for example april I never encountered a submission of january where the photos show leafs on the ground, bald trees or snow.
Disagreements exist. You do not get credit for upgrades or for badges if you disagreed with the final out come on a nomination.
those 8700 are mostly disagreements
This afaik wasn't explained like that in the FaQ when I joined Wayfarer back then... Also until now never in other Wayfarer forums or in videos.
Still doesn't really explain why after 3 1/2 months of no agreement at all suddenly 2 agreements happened though. Also that agreements stopped just 1 or 2 weeks after I started taking a break. There should have at least a couple non upgraded things have come to an agreement every now an then - if I managed to review some of those and not only upgraded ones.
These 8700 can't all be disagreements, else I should be at least yellow. A statistic showing those disagreements would be really helpful here...
Anyway, thanks for that info.
Your rating isn't directly related to the % of agreements /disagreements, so you can be in green with 50% of agreements and other people are in red with 60% of agreements.
They could be that people disagreed or it could be that they just haven’t reached the end point.
if you have a lot of people reviewing locally who are in the red then their votes don’t count much if at all. So Nothing reaches agreement.
if there are theoretically 100 positive agreements needed, and it gets 99 positives from "somewhere" - the system wants at least that "final" 1 agreement from someone local to "accepted"
trust me, it is that way.
You're misunderstanding what that 'disagreement' number is. The gap between reviews and agreements is not just ones in limbo, it's also ones that reached a decision that didn't match your vote.
Agreements are cases where you agreed with the majority of the reviewers, disagreements are cases where your decision contradicted the majority’s decision. Where it says “accepted” - those are submissions that you decided to accept and were indeed accepted. Where it says “rejected״ - those are submissions that you decided to reject and were indeed rejected. Many of the missing 8700 are not unprocessed submissions, but submissions where your decision was not in line with the majority so you didn’t get an “agreement” for them. Some of them are indeed probably unresolved, because right now it shows about 51% agreement, and I assume you’re probably around 60-65%.
yes, there is a difference if you submit something on the countryside or in Luzino.
Luzino already has some wayspots, and the little towns next to it basicly have none.
Also in the "big picture" Luzino is at the border of 4 S2-Level 8 Cells, and each of them has their own life.
Está en ese estado desde hace 15 días, no me sale de ahí, y las que solicité posteriormente siguen en el mismo estado. Se quedó en cola permanentemente. Cómo puedo hacer para que siga adelante... es un bug
welcome to Niantic Wayfarer. Working as intended.
Ive experienced the same thing went from getting things passed at a max 2 weeks to things taking over 3months!
I agree, something is very broken. I have listing of a bigger city and in the past they were done voting after 2 weeks. They are open since over a month. Same goes with another poi that I submitted. I also am scared of using upgrades bcs that will lead into 95 % chance of beeing declined. Don't even know why. I only use upgrades on fire sure poi. Tho I try to not use upgrades anymore bcs if have the feeling that users, which are voting then, have become pretty cynic after voting on 5738458263 poi or so.
