You know !? Gender doesn't matter to me, as far as I'm concerned all ambassadors can be female. I myself am from Germany and none of the ambassadors have to be from Germany. But it would be enough if you only chose 1 person from Mexico instead of 2 and only 1 person from Australia instead of 2 .... so you would have 2 places where you could choose people from other countries and you would have one again larger geographic part covered ....so not that difficult! ✌🏻
I am not worried about gender, race, nationality, region, etc, at all.
What I am looking for in ambassadors is a proper understanding of Niantic's philosophy, adherence to the game's terms of use, and the ability to think of the game and Wayfarer based on real world rules and morals.
None of the demographics are vital to me (and especially not at an individual level - if you have two people in my age group, I don't care which two they are!), but Niantic stated that diversity was an important goal when choosing the initial team, and I'd like to know how well they did at hitting the target representation. If my personal characteristics are already represented in the first-round choices, it would also take some of the sting out of being passed over for a null value - and I'd be happier knowing I had a proxy voice with experience similar to my own.
I'm suspecting that some promotions were sent out in error?
Don't get me wrong... I won't complain if I've been nominated for the role and was volunteered for it, but I was not expecting to receive an email saying I'd been promoted.

Sooooo has there been an update on what the ambassadors duties entail?

I will use my Ambassador powers wisely.
This is a test. Don't mind me.😆

It'ss the April Fools joke from Niantic but they have failed to launch it in time. XD
We are the 12th Ambassador.
Do we function like the Borg from Star Trek?
I'm guessing this is an oops
We will add your nominations and criteria clarifications to our own. Your Wayfarer will adapt to service us.
Resistance is futile.
Now we all need to change our names to numbers, how many of us are there?
Am I now 236 of 1331?
