"Bonus Location" misplacement

Right when I first joined the Niantic Wayfarer community, I f-ed up by setting my bonus location similar to my hometown location out of pure ignorance. Because of that, I'm getting limited submissions to review. I know that re-setting your bonus location is only available after a year, so I'm wondering if I could appeal to Niantic themselves to basically allow me to correct a stupid but costly mistake.

And both of those are near where you actually play (which is yet a third area), correct? IMO Niantic should reset both of them if possible, since you brought it up here.

I tried that a year ago after I accidentally misplaced my pin, but they wouldn't reset it for me. Thus my bonus location is on an extremely remote island with nothing in range until I can move it again at the end of April.
I recently moved mine south from south western Washington to North Western Oregon so I could help with some nominations in Central Oregon. I was hoping to stay within range of Portland and be able to see smaller towns like Bend or Corvallis I think I went just a bit too far east. I only got Bend and parts of Salem, and now I'm running out of nominations fairly quickly. Only getting 10 to 12 a day. Guess I'm stuck for a year unless we get another challenge where we can move our location.

Since the forum software double posted and gave me a blank one I'll edit it to say that even 10-12 is better than having your bonus location in the wrong part of Antarctica.
That was the plan but I got a much shallower queue
