Creative codename in nominations, No safe padestrians access, bug with pokestops
City: Rzeszów
Country: Poland
In this thread: community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/27117/almost-100-abuses-in-rzeszow-poland/p1 , I noticed that someone in Rzeszów used the phrase "na B4." as a codename.
Let me quote @O405NE-PGO , I hope he won't blame me for that.
"In the listed below all wayspots have the player's code name "na B4.".
"B4" isn't name of estate. The correct name's "Baranówka IV" or "Osiedle Baranówka". Roman and Arabic numerals have meaning in Polish language. Additionally, B4 is not an official name or abbreviation used by the local community. Local players say that, judging by the author of the wayspot photos, all of them with the phrase "B4" were added by one person. The phrase "na B4." it is always at the end of the title. The conjunction "na" is also a characteristic feature. There is always a period at the end of a title, which is rarely seen in electronic writing. The words "na B4." in the title could have had a significant impact on the nomination result as it reveals who is the author of the nomination."
"On Wikipedia we can read that Baranówka IV is located between Wyzwolenia and Młocińska streets. Some of the wayspots with the name B4 are outside this area, which is even more indicative of abuse"
And then what NianticGiffard wrote:
"We have made the necessary changes as per our policies, you can submit more accurate title/description edits if required.
Having said that, I would suggest not submitting any code like B4."
It seems that the same person is currently abusing, but instead of the phrase "na B4." extended it by "na Baranówce 4."
As the author of the topic about abuses rightly noted, there is a period at the end of the title of all nominations, which is rare when we do not write more than one sentence.
Probably "na Baranówce 4." is the player's new codename. Please take a look at this.
I found two nominations with the phrase "na Baranówce 4." when evaluating the nomination for the Niantic Wayfarer. If it's a code name, please withdraw it and take action against the perpetrator.
A few more memories from holidays in Podkarpacie:
a. https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=50.064544,21.932511&z=16&pll=50.064544,21.932511
This wayspot seems to have no safe pedestrian access (no pavement, busy road)

b. https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=50.067478,21.971633&z=17&pll=50.067478,21.971633
This wayspot also has no sidewalk or shoulder, in addition, it is near an intersection, and the POI photo has a traceable license plate.

c. https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=50.042398,21.988729&z=20&pll=50.042398,21.988729
In this case, there is also no sidewalk or roadside, the mural is located directly on the road. No safe access for pedestrians.
By the way, the same bug probably occurred in that area as described in this thread: community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/27085/mass-location-edit-abuse
Despite the occupancy of S2 cells, the pokestops shifted to the occupied cells have not disappeared and are still in the Pokemon Go game.

These wayspots were shifted by Niantic, so I think there was a bug here. I believe that this situation should be improved so that there is only one pokestop in each cell
Thank you with the mountain.
Comments
Hi, it's interesting what you wrote. The diagram is quite similar.
Of course I don't mind your quoting my public comment. This is what the right to quote is for
😃
As everything happens in one area and all the abuses are probably interconnected (there is always an "na X." at the end of the title) and I don't want to create another thread, let me post it here.
Probably the same person responsible for the previous abuses (also the phrase "na X.") now nominated the POI with many license plates visible in the photo. You can see them clearly after zooming in, I censored them so that I could insert them here.
@NianticGiffard
Please withdraw this ineligible nomination and punish the abuser.
So there is more. I'm gladly writing when I meet some more.
"X" is only used as a symbol to show the similarity between the submissions. In this situation, for "X" you can substitute for example "B4", "Baranówce 4" and the like, and you took it too literally.
@O405NE-PGO only admitted that the style of the name of this nomination is quite distinctive and repetitive, and drew attention to the visible number plates in the photo, which is a condition for rejecting the nomination according to the criteria.
In place X You can put in for example "B4", "Baranówce 4", "Osiedlu Andersa", "Osiedlu Miłocin". This way, I just wanted to show that the titles of all POIs are similar, so they are probably created by the same person.
Nowhere did I mention in my entry that the phrase "na Osiedlu Andersa." is an abuse, and I have only shown the similarity between this nomination and others. I only stuck to the license plate.
@NianticGiffard
Hi there, @ValkirinaGO-PGO! We have reviewed the report and have taken action on the Wayspot "Gmina Świlcza - do zobaczenia" whereas the Wayspots "Plan Osiedla "Miłocin" and "Graffiti MDB" do not meet our criteria for removal.
