2nd submission was rejected. Need some help here

My neighborhood has ZERO stops. People felt for sure this one would be approved. Things at the park have rejected and now this. What gives? Do I appeal? Any suggestions? I've seen many similar things in the game like this, so I'm a bit stumped now.

And what does these rejection criteria mean? Abuse? Location sensitive?

Is that just a subdivision sign? They really do not typically meet criteria.

Things that already are in games are not good examples of what is currently eligible, criterias has changed over time.

As this kind of subdivision signs are often spammed by submitters, while they don't meet any acceptance criteria, some reviewers are inclined to consider them as abuse, especially if they see the same nomination coming back frequently.

The main reason for rejection is Don't meet any criteria, but it's not yet an option we have, unfortunately.

If it's the Upland Crossing in Texas, websites mentions a "Beautiful 12-acre park & community walking trails".

These can be a lot of potential eligible wayspots !

Your nomination appears to be a subdevision sign, these are not eligible. Some reviewers may think you are deliberately trying to created a Waypoint using something that "everybody knows" is not eligible, ie a "fake Waypoint", hence the "Abuse" rejection reason. Unfortunately, "zero stops" is not a reason for accepting Waypoints, and give that this or similar comments appear time and time again, some reviewers are more inclined to reject if this is included in the description or supporting information.

Yes you are right. thus far i've been declined on my submissions for things. A few are in voting still. But there are no gazebos so my "sitting areas" are being declined. The park has no sign to use. Playground and fountain are under review still, but if we can only get 2 in the entire neighborhood it will be a big disappointment.

Here's one of the "sitting area with lights" which was declined. Any further tips?

When asking for feedback on your submission it is important that you show us the actual submission in full (both photos, title, description, supporting statement, coordinates, everything that the reviewers saw). Any part of a submission can torpedo what would otherwise appear to be acceptable.

(Although in this case it appears that you just submitted something that doesn't meet the eligiblity criteria.)

The consensus is correct that this is a subdivision sign, and that subdivision signs do not meet criteria. They are not great places to explore or socialize or exercise. The ‘abuse’ tag can get slapped on a nomination if reviewers think you’re trying to create a spot you can reach from your couch, as this sign is basically on the back fence of a private residence. “Location sensitive” is obviously incorrect.

I’ll take the opportunity to suggest that you level and center your primary image in future nominations. The first image is the first thing reviewers see, and a good one will make reviewers want to approve. This one makes a poor first impression.
