Google maps creating invalid nominations

I submitted a church as a pokestop, got a rejection email. Checked the thing and saw that the entire school was pasted ontop of the church on the Google map picture they provided as "evidence". The school is a full block away from the church. Which means someone literally went out of his/her/it's way to deny my submission.
How do I appeal this?

Just put the school marker back to its original position. You can do this via Maps.
If somehow the trolls are back and misplacing it again, maybe you should contact the school to request to fix its location to Google.
If you're talking about a misplaced Street View/photosphere, that can also be reported to Google to hopefully be corrected.
Appeals are currently not available while the Wayfarer Team fixes a bug that was allowing submitters to make more appeals than intended. Once Appeals return, you will be able to make your appeal through the Wayfarer contribution management page. If Google has not managed to fix the issue with their map or Street View by then, you'll be able to explain the issue in your appeal.
