So I've been busy lately, haven't reviewed much in the last several weeks, but I submitted a couple of new nominations in the last few days so while I was editing the supporting info figured I would try to add some value to the community and review a handful of submissions. Got through two and BAM!!! 24 hour cooldown.
Great job Niantic, I reviewed a memorial plaque outside a library and and a trail marker in conservation land and you banned me for a day. A+, 10/10 recommend (sarcasm). Guess it'll be another couple weeks before I offer free labor again. "slow clap"
For reference and those that care; on 7,000 reviews my Wayfarer rating is "Great" so take that for what it's worth.

"Make sure to spend 20-30 seconds minimum on each nomination" is the usual mantra.
I guess we don't see how much cooldowns actually work as far as keeping out bots or bad faith reviewers, but I tend to suspect they cause more grief for reviewers than actually stop abuse.
Interact with the nominations. Click the title for a google, click pictures on potential duplicates, zoom in and out, click "Google" at the bottom left of the map, type a comment. You don't have to do each thing on every nomination, but do something.
EVERY web page tracks your activity on it - it's standard web design. Even whether you scroll down and back up, and where your pause to read.
I feel like maybe you read the header and not the post. Anyway's not my first rodeo. All things that I do. again 7,000 reviews under my belt. I'm sure there are lots with more but I'm fairly certain I've done my fair share at this point. Enough to be proficient anyways.
To @Gendgi-PGO 's point, when you BOT sniffing software hampers the efforts of legitimate reviewers then their is an issue with said software.
