Submitted the sitting area with lights at night and "other rejection criteria"
Guess I'm giving up. They're way too picky and can't even tell us what the real reason is. So annoying. This is a very large walking path but without a sign or trail markers it keeps rejecting.

Sorry to hear that, but many people told you in at least 3 similar threads you created that as benches/sitting area this nomination don't have much chance of being accepted, and the best chance it might be accepted is to nominate it as an anchor for a park (with giving clear title and description that say it's a park area you're nominating, not benches).
Maybe with this it would be accepted (and it still might have a hard time to be accepted), but as benches it doesn't have chance, especially as there are a few of them in this park.
I think giving up on this one might be the best option, as it realy has very small chance of being accepted, and it seems that each rejection gives you a lot of frustration - so it's best to give up.
"Other rejection criteria" means "Nomination does not meet acceptance criteria" and it's the most common rejection you can get - until we had rejection reasons sent in mails, this was text you would get for this rejection, and I agree it should be phrased a bit more clear on wayfarer site, but it still means people don't see this nominations as eligible.
It's best to think about other options to get some other POIs in this area.
Maybe it would be the best to try to talk with your local authority if they are planning to add anything else in that park - and if they don't, then suggest something for them to add? Like some outdoor gym, any sports field, gazebo, local nature/history information board? Some of them don't need too much money or effort from management to create, and it's worth to try ask :)
It would help develop this neighbourhood and making park more attractive to locals and would also give you some eligible things to nominate - it would make not only good POIs but would be very helpful for locals too :)
I know it might seems like too much to do, but helping your area develop with some nice suggestions can be very good for everyone and it's often worth every work you had to do.
"Other Rejection Criteria" is what you see on your e-mail / contribution system when the revewing community use the "Does not meet criteria" rejection category. That is the real reason this nomination keeps getting refused repeatedly.
It doesn’t look like a sitting area at all. As someone who’s never been to this park it looks like you’re nominating trees with lights in them surrounded by large cut stones. Even if you described it as such in your description and supporting info your picture works against you and I would’ve likely rejected it if I reviewed it tbh.
if it's a new park wait and see if they add any landmarks that would make it though nominations you never know what can happen
Have to say very jealous of how you are getting your submissions turned around so quickly. Okay, most of them are getting rejected - granted - but what's that now? 5 in the space of 10 days? Even the re-submissions. Fancy swapping places? Nearly 2 years for some of mine.
