Why was my invalid wayspot report rejected?

The Heron House Sculpture on Boston’s Esplanade was very cool and the pic is nice. The sculpture sat atop an atmospheric dead tree trunk in a play area. Alas, the tree trunk was removed a year or more back and the sculpture is definitively gone. Why, then, was my invalid wayspot report summarily rejected? Is any sort of research about facts on the ground done?

You should have followed the template for posting when you created this post. This appeal probably won't get anywhere because it's in the wrong format.
Does the street view at the location show that the object no longer exists? If not, you'll likely need to create a photosphere at the location using Google Street View and/or take a geotagged photo to show it's no longer there.
