Appeal function at nomination page.

In December, I filed an appeal for my rejected wayspot nomination through the options on the nomination page. The status "appeal submitted" is still displayed, while yesterday i.e. on March 30, 2022, I sent an appeal against rejection of another wayspot and this one is already in the vote. Is my previous submission "stuck" due to a bug in the system?
