I submitted a portal with the primary picture accidently rotated 90 degrees.
It was quickly (36 hours) rejected for low quality photo.
But its a pretty solid candidate otherwise - a trail map.
Is there a way to correct the photo?
Could the secondary photo be used?
Its 3700 km away now so I can't resubmit it.

Once a nomination is rejected you have to either appeal or resubmit. I think it’s pretty clear this would not clear an appeal, so if you want the POI added, resubmission is your only option.
My appeal was rejected.
You can't resubmit remotely.
You can't rotate the image and apply an edit in wayfarer.
I was hoping Niantic could rotate it, or once approved, I could rotate it and submit the corrected photo using the key you get for approvals.
You can resubmit remotely, but only within 10km range of your location.
I meant, it can't be resubmitted remotely because its in Hawaii, thousands of miles away.
And its a sign on a trail that would be hard to locate. I wish they used the gps location of the photo as a starting point for location.
