Before I release hold on this...

I'm nominating this for the dog but using the salon's name alone in the title. After having one nomination rejected for being a low quality photo, I'm worried this will be rejected for the same reason since I wanted to include the business name with the dog statue.

But again, I wouldn't nominate this place if not for the dog. Should I call it "Pretty Please Pupper"? Is this image confusing? Should I nix the company name and just include the dog in the photo? Would people consider the dog temporary (it's been there since the salon's opening as a visual marker, but voters wouldn't know that)?

it should get approved I dont see why not, but ot might with that photo because its kinda at an angle. use a photo of the statue. call it "pink dog statue" don't mention the salon since thats not what you are nominating

The title and the image should show a single subject. A nomination with a business name and a picture of a pink dog should be rejected. The image would serve you best by having the dog straight and square in the center; reviewers sometimes react poorly to images taken at an angle.

I don’t know if it could be called temporary or not. It looks like concrete to me, which is somewhat unlikely to be moved. If you can get the actual name of the dog and the date it was placed there, that information would add a lot of authority to a notion of permanence. Make sure Google street view can see the dog; if not, upload a photosphere.

Yeah, street view can see the dog. I'll go back and just grab a shot of it and see if I can get a name.

    New photo:

    Title: Pink Pooch

Description: Pampered prim and proper, this pink puppy pluckily protects Pretty Please.

Expect a rejection for "Temporary" if you submit this pink dog as a nomination photo.

Only thing that's temporary is the ribbon. I mentioned in the supporting info that it's a fiberglass statue on a concrete base. Tested to make sure it actually was after @X0bai-PGO mentioned that it looked like it, and it wasn't budging. It's been visible from street view since the salon's opening. We'll see what happens, but yeah, before I submitted, I was thinking that'd be the most likely rejection case too.

I think “temporary” is something of a coin flip, given that it’s on street view. You can resubmit if rejected for that reason. Fun text.
