It is not private residential property by Niantic's definition (on the lot of a single family house or private farm). Just because it is not accessible to everyone doesn't mean it is ineligible.
businesses, shops, multi-family buildings etc. can be in the game. some people have access to them and that's enough
If you are a member of the Moose Club then you can access the POI. That's good enough for Niantic to say it meets acessibility criteria. It's not PRP, and members, guests and staff can use it.
I agree its not private residential, but its also limited access which is a denial requirement per submission guidelines, not to mention there isn't a volley ball court, its all grass and has benches all over it.

Please copy and paste the section of the guidelines that mentions this (and link to it). I'm interested to see it as it seemingly goes against what Niantic tell us on here.
Limited access is not grounds for removal. Also, the photos you provided show benches by the building. The overhead view clearly shows the volleyball court is behind and to the left of the building. These photos are taken at an angle to suit you and your argument and not the actual location of the POI.
Here is the copy and pasted section of the guidelines that says that: "".
Here is the link: http://
Yes, I am aware that both the quote and link are blank.
Thanks for the appeal, @bgskyman-ING! We took another look at the Portal in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.
the pictures submitted were of where the portal is in the game, if its not there then it should be removed. putting a waypoint somewhere easy to access does not make it right.
You show yourself a picture of where the portal is :
We can see the net on this satellite view.
If it has been moved to where you take the picture, as you said, the entrance, you can ask for an location edit to move it where it's really is.
If you can see the net then you can also see the grass and tables in the middle of the COURT!
It seems like you have a personal reason to have this portal removed. In your appeal you list “private property” after that argument you move to the volleyball court not being there but provide no photo to support the claim? As you can see from the portal location the court IS NOT at entrance but to the west of it. Your phots go out of the way to not display that area. Then it’s moved on to the court is there but there are picnic tables on it. I’m not sure if you’re now concerned that the court isn’t actually there or if the picnic tables should make it ineligible? Either way deliberately taking photos angled away from the disputed waypoint is not helpful to the community or the appeal process.
Most likely as they are in Ingress player, it is a strategic portal they personally cannot access that is held by the opposing team.
This is similar to other of his appeals https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/31464/gazebo-fell-down-or-was-torn-down-was-falling-over-when-submitted#latest where he took the photos from his car and in an angle that didn't show the full area so the gazebo remained hidden.
The tone of several of this appeals smells too fishy.
It's the same reason he got this fountain removed and tries to say all fountains should be removed. If you play Ingress, you can see it's a vending machine and I farmed it daily, there are also two other fountain I use as vending machines. I was able to get more waypoints added because of it so ultimately it all worked out for me.
There are other examples, like the Jelly Belly murals, he omits from the same article source he used that Jelly Belly still owns the building.
why isn't this user banned yet, mods? i believe it is clear that they are repeatedly trying to falsely remove portals.

Will look into it.
I took pictures of "where the portal is in game" to get where it may actually be would be trespassing into private property, and therefore illegal. the local players put it there so they can use it, too lazy to walk to the possible actual location, or unwilling to go to jail
Just because you can't use it doesn't mean that others can't. this is not a reason for removal. the place meets the requirements of the game
You took the pictures pointing to another direction, even farther away from the entrance it's possible to take a picture of the volleyball field

First of all, why would grass on the court be an issue? Grass is a perfectly acceptable playing surface for volleyball.
Secondly, regarding the tables. Those picnic tables obviously do not belong on the volleyball court and can easily be removed from it at any time as they're not fixed to the ground.
That does not refute the fact that you posted a picture yourself showing exactly where in the game the POI is located and it is appropriately on the corner of the court as to not interfere with gameplay per NIA rules. It’s been done within the guidelines possibly even by someone who is a member of the Moose Club. This would mean that it was not only submitted legally without trespassing, but also used by members of the club who are legally allowed to be on the property. I’m sure you could get a membership and walk right up to the volleyball court if you asked. Its unfortunate that you feel the need to attempt to remove POIs that you do not see fit or have access to, but other players do have every right to be on the property and have access to the POIs.
That’s not where the portal is, the portal is on the volleyball court not at the entrance. Your photos are of the entrance, angled away from the volleyball deliberately not showing the area of the volleyball court in your photos then arguing the court is unusable is not helping the appeal and is intentionally dishonest trying to sway the appeal your way. Also it’s incredibly disrespectful and hurtful to accuse anyone of being “lazy” because you don’t agree with a portal or it’s location. name calling or targeted hateful comments don’t have a place here
@NianticGiffard
@NianticVK
people who remove good portals out of anger or on force should be punished
@NianticGiffard
He just got a batting cage POI removed because there was no netting? The actual batting cage is physically still there, and @NianticAtlas had it removed....
"good portals" seriously there are such bad portals now, seriously batting cages, since when does anyone hang out at a batting cage, what is neat or interesting about them... nothing
They do promote exercise, though. Maybe not a great place to exercise depending on your viewpoint, but still eligible per criteria. I do think that individual sports fields and plastic playgrounds are uninteresting candidates, and I'd much rather see a public work of art or historical site in review, but...they're still eligible, and shouldn't be outright rejected or subject to removal.
Has this been looked into? It's been a month. Here is a quick summary of the abuse that has been allowed - and it's in writing right here on the forums.
Lied about POI / used misleading photos
Uses incorrect information to claim portals should be removed - even when they actually have a valid reason.
Says word for word - “all Im trying to do is make the game better and follow the game guidelines” but when questioned about why he refused to request removals on portals that no longer exist in his play area he makes ridiculous excuses like “we don’t look up”. I found a portal submitted by him that was on elementary school property. If he cared about the “rules” he would be following them for the area that his ingress faction plays the most - but he clearly doesn't.
Why is he allowed to abuse the system to “punish” opposing faction?
He also includes Ingress data with other player’s in-game names in many of his submissions - why is this allowed? He claims people are harassing him when really he’s just upset at being called out on his hypocritical and/or dishonest posts.
@NianticGiffard @NianticVK
@NianticAndres @NianticAndres Tagging you guys since this is a serious issue you're ignoring.
And look at that, the fountain he said was "permanently removed" is still there because of course, as with every other fountain in the Midwest, it was covered for the winter but Niantic accept his lies and manipulation.
