Is there a way to ask why approved locations are not in place?

I have two of my nominations that have been approved that haven't been put in place. There are stops around these locations. They aren't stacked locations either.
One of them is a little library that in at the local park and another is a historical placque describing the history of the area. In the same park and further away from the next closest stop that the "short hoop" basketball court that was approved and put in place.

As @Faversham71-ING said, there is a Known Issues discussion covering this topic.
Also, keep in mind that not all approved Wayspots make their way across all of Niantic's games. Niantic has at times blocked areas and hinted at other things that may keep Stops & Gyms from syncing.
