My showcased nominations do not display my codename, even though setting is at 'on'

Hi there!

I have the honor of having a nomination featured in Showcase at the moment. I am quite happy with the nomination so I wouldn't mind getting credit for it by displaying my codename - but even though the setting is at ON, it just reads 'a fellow Wayfinder'. This has happened before with another quite recently featured nomination.

Does anyone else have this issue or knows what causes it?

And does anyone know how it can be fixed so that my codename will be displayed?

By the way, the Wayspot is still not live in Ingress, even though featured. So... No accepted photos showing up on portals (now it is just ever, apparently), new portals that I thiiiiink is live in PoGo is not there in Ingress... (I know Niantic decides what to put where, but you know, it's reasonable to think this not going live is a mistake, not a choice - yes?) and just generally sync is not happening as it is supposed to. It's... not great.

But this thing with the codename not showing up, that is annoying. I put a lot of effort into the nomination and tbh, I think I deserve credit.

Think I'll be taking a break from this, getting quite tired of nothing ever working properly...

Thanks for sharing @Johnsonsine-ING. Would you mind clearing your cache and trying to see if it'll pop up? Also, it takes up to 48 hours for the feature to take affect.... did you happen to toggle it on or off right before seeing your codename not displayed? Also, the other time you noticed it, was it with another one of your nominations or was it someone else's?

Thanks for getting back to me. I tried clearing the cache and logging in again. Nothing changed though. I know about the 48 hours, but it was not just recently toggled on. It has been for months. I tried at one point "turning it off and then on again". But not just before this one, no.

The other time was also like this one; it had been toggled on for a long time before the nomination got featured. But it only read 'a fellow Wayfinder'. That was also my nomination. So I'm thinking it's something related to my account perhaps? (It was recently "seperated" by closing PoGo and keeping my Ingress, which led to all kinds of problems in Wayfarer).

That's super helpful information. Do you remember when you had the account deletion done? Also, is this happening only in the Featured Wayspot or also in the Wayspots in the game map? Thanks for providing this. I will send this information over our team for investigation.
