Appeal Rejected "school residential property"
This is a nomination I made, which I appealed. The appeal as can be seen here says it's eligible but located on "school residential property" with no indication of what that actually means.
I don't know what school residential property is supposed to mean however it's not a school or a residence. It is located attached to the fire hall and located near a municipal building and a park. I've argued that it doesn't in fact interfere with their operations, and I'll include my reasoning for that below.
The gray roofed part is where the trucks are housed, trucks leave onto that road and not near where the marker is and there are parking spots for the public right next to where the nomination is. The community hall is used for all kinds of events including weekly bingo, elections and other stuff like a chili sale which is visible in the nomination photo.
A different nomination was accepted upon appeal along this building:
The fact that obstructs emergency services wasn't included in the text of the appeal response leads me to believe Niantic accepted my reasoning regarding that. I'm not sure what exactly the recourse is for disputes on the results of an appeal however I would at least like some clarification on what exactly "school residential property" means in addition to arguing that this is not a school or a residence and should have been accepted.

School Residential Property? PRPK12?
Seems the real reason is "obstructs emergency services" which is pretty much true if you're nominating a fire station (yes, even if they hold bingos and barbecue events). However, the accompanying text seems to be copy/pasted wrongly.
Seems like some kind of copy/paste error. I think Niantic is trying to train up more internal reviewers, but they are demonstrating that Wayfarer is not easy to learn.
Regardless, I would agree that an emergency services rejection would be correct.
Thanks for bringing this up, @Straasha2-ING! This was an error from our end, we apologize for that. We have accepted the nomination now.
Seems like someone at the end of the reviewing day selecting random words lol
Don't you just love how even though the Niantic reply stated this "is eligible" and the OP addressed that it does not interfere with emergency operations, some people have jumped on this post to say it deserved the emergency services rejection anyway?
Kudos to the OP for following up on a reason that did not make sense and to Niantic for admitting and overturning the error.
