Title
The Scenic Lookout at Tory, Bradford on Avon
Description
The highest point in town with a panoramic view of Wiltshire. Can you see the Westbury White Horse?
Supplemental Information
A similar nomination in the hill at Budbury was recently accepted on appeal. This site is a must-visit for tourists in the town who have walk the steep paths through the hill in order to reach what is the highest point around - it is marked as a Viewing Point on Open Street Map - see the supporting photo. Safe and permitted access with plenty of space for playing; the Public Footpath runs through here from Tory down to Wine St. Thanks for voting!
It looks as though the ground is sloping down behind the bench so maybe try to get more height a selfie stick or hold up high??? As there is a church to the right and having a bit of that might go down better than a house. Take a number of pics and try various cropping options.
and yes leave out the info about the other one. Say explicitly you are using the bench as an anchor for this viewing point.
Good morning, I have submitted once again using a new picture where the foliage has grown to cover up the house that @The26thDoctor-PGO did not like. It was taken in the late part of the day. I think the only way it could be better is if I took it at sun-up. The view is towards the south-east. Here we go again! Have a good week :)
The photo is bad. The Public Footpath is legible. The righting underneath if visible, clearly legible, not skew, and more in focus it would have gotten a passible rating and not a skip in this case.
As a non local I'd rather know about this view, which will be there for a long time even if the bench isn't, rather than another postbox, playground, dirty old UK pub that even the barman wouldn't nominate.
I posted a video yesterday on this exact same thing (laziness). One of my recent videos was me spending about a half hour getting a nomination just right to submit, then I get this nomination of a restaurant where the person likely spent 15 seconds on it and expected me to approve it. My video was titled "Submitters - Stop Being Lazy"

@goongillings-PGO To explain how you take a photo of the bench and the view...
These are just examples of how to frame an image to show placement, bench, and view.
Those are lovely photos. Below is one I subbed where I tried to do this, but it was rejected, and then rejected again on appeal.
But a very similar one (and as some said in my topic on the subject https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/32853/town-viewing-points#latest the much less pretty one ) was rejected and then accepted on appeal.
Anyway, I've resubmitted this other one now. Hoping for better luck, especially with the prescient set by the other.
These are all great examples of how to use a simple object as an anchor.
Well I’m glad you like it but it was just rejected again. I will appeal when I am able and point to your statement.
Oh dear that’s a pity.
Out of interest what are you writing in the text?

I wouldn't mention about something similar being accepted personally.
Is it possible to get a picture of the view without the house in the foreground?
I don't know if it would help but it does draw the eye away from the view.
Thank you for your feedback. I can't photograph the view and the bench at the same time. And the bench is required to 'anchor' the view.
You can see more pictures of the view here on an IG page focussed on the location though :)

This is a good one: https://www.instagram.com/p/CtJ8KzpMKco/
Gosh this is hard to get a good angle.
I can’t tell are you taking them Landscape ?

Thanks again for the feedback. I'll see what I can do!
Good luck. I like this submission, hopefully others do too.

Its is still a nameless footpath. Generally I either skip or decline based on something else other than other.

I really like these sort of submissions.

And good luck from me.

Trying another Viewing Point:
If it gets auto rejected please provide date of submission and name and location
@goongillings-PGO
Thank you for starting this thread.
You showed as a lovely place. As I was just a few miles away at Glendurggan I paid a visit 😎
I enjoyed the footpath walk from Constantine, it was lovely. So it has encouraged at least one trainer to explore. And that should be the point.
I did put myself in the gym but didn’t last long 😂.
Hi @Elijustrying-ING this was indeed just auto-rejected.
