The object itself doesn't meet any of the removal criteria that I can see, so it's a valid wayspot in that regard. You should probably have requested a title and description change if you're taking issues with the risqué creativity of whoever submitted them.
I mean, they could remove it as general abuse "Any other type of abuse that you feel is not in keeping with the spirit of Wayfarer's mission to create the most interesting, family-friendly, and accurate representation of the real-world.". We'll have to see if they think it crosses a line or not. I agree attempting title and description edit is the better way to go, though.

Thanks for the report. We’ve reviewed the Wayspot and made changes to the title and description. We have also taken appropriate action against the Wayfinder responsible for it.

I don't think they're local to Scotland with a name like PitsbrghSteelix. A picture of this Pokéstop was doing the rounds on social media and that's probably how they found it and reported it.
Regarding how it got into the game, you're in the US (I think) and this Pokéstop is in Scotland. It's probably a difference in culture - we aren't particularly prudish over here (I'm from England but I've dated Scots before and know what they're like haha) and often have a naughty sense of humour. I'm not defending the fact it was in the game, because yes, it isn't the most appropriate title and description, but at the same time, I do understand people having a laugh with it.

Cheeky, but double entendres usually are. I hope the wayfinder wasn't disciplined too badly for this one.
This pokestop has been shared around Facebook, reddit etc so it may have been reported from there or received as a gift.
Either way, the OP has a filthy mind if they think it was inappropriate.

By the sound of it, it wasn't a first offense, and probably not the second either.
Do you just call everyone a spoofer you don’t agree with ?? You know you can see stops from gifts, or you could just Google that stop and see the pictures on the Internet. Nice try though.
