Had a nomination approved. It’s been 36 hours but is not showing up in game. Just trying to figure out why that might be. Not sure if this is the right thread.

The location of your acceped submission may be within the same Level 17 S2 cell as another Pokemon Go stop or gym.
It may appear in other Niantic games, depending on its distance from other wayspots.
Remember that not all accepted nominations will appear in all Niantic games (and may take up to 48 hours to appear).
That line on the email should get your attention. Not everything makes it in to every game depending on the game board rules.

if its within 20m next to other poi it wont appear.
That applies only to Ingress. In Pokemon Go and other games it's determined by S2 cells
I think they should 20 cell or 22 cell its not fair that so many thing on the map good for Pokémon but cant..
or at least allow 2 pokestops per 17 cell as long as its legit
i mean i seen soooo many hot that have 3-4 pokestop in 1 location so why cant we.
You’d have to raise that with the Pokémon GO support. It’s not up to the Wayfarer folks. But I cannot see it happening.
If there are PokéStops overlapping/crowded into cells, then that’s due to previous edit abuse that hasn’t been tidied up yet.

It's not always edit abuse. Sometimes it's bugs in Niantic's system. For example, there was a time earlier this year that cell boundaries were being ignored for new wayspots (at least in my area). There was a fake stop right in the middle of a nice trail bridge. I wanted to get it removed and replace it with the bridge. My new nomination of the bridge was accepted before I could get the fake stop removed, and they were less than 1 meter from each other. I assume they would still be clustered there now if my removal report hadn't eventually been accepted.
Yeah, I get that it isn’t always. But typically I’ve seen that it is.
